Dixie Witch On The Hunt (Lynyrd Skynyrd Cover)

No matter what I am doing there is always a perfect song for that moment.  I went back into my library and got out some of my lesser played CD's to load in my Ipod...I recommend you purchase this one for yours

Kicks!-Retired

My wife calls me a "pack rat".  I disagree, I prefer to call myself a "Collector".  Shoes have been my most important personal item since I can remember.  Vans being at the top of the list.  I got my first pair in the 5th grade in 1983.  They were red, blue & black checkerboard slip ons.  I can remember the smell of the waffle soles.  I still get excited when I get a new pair of Vans today.  I have no less than 5 pair of Vans at any given time but I dont wear all of them...once they get worn, I retire them.  Today I retired my RAD Sk8 Highs...
Also in my collection are my 2006 Hosoi Sk8 highs...these were retired in 2008

Currently I am wearing the Iron Maiden "Trooper" Sk8 highs and a pair of Grosso black & reds...
I guess I am a little "Off the wall"...Jason

Sportsters forever

All I wanted was a Harley.  I hated baggers, my dad had one, a 1972 Full Dresser.  It was Blue & White and it was slow, handled like a bus and it was quiet.  I went to the dealer...it was 2003 and I was one of a million or so folks that wanted to buy in to the lifestyle...my advances on the dealership showroom went un-noticed by salesman so I went to another dealership and bought an 883 Custom 100th anniversary Sportster, a matching helmet and the biggest HOG patch the dealership had for sale.
It only took a few months to learn that the dealership set was not for me...I was ready to dismantle my bike and build something cool out of it.  I sold my stock bike when it was 6 months old.  My second Sportster was a 2002 1200 Custom that was in a wreck.  I bought it for $2,000 and built this:
I wanted to be a "Pro" builder, so I sold the bike.  I am not certain who owns it now...but I hope they are enjoying it.  Speed Metal Built Forever!-Jason Hallman

First post...

This BLOG has been something that I have wanted to do for a long time.  Since I left J R Cycle Works in late summer of 2009, I have been working on several projects.  Last week I finally busted out my custom Speed Metal Parts "Double Down" frame built to my specs by Paul Wideman of Bare Knuckle Choppers in Missouri.  The frame is built to accept a rigid mount EVO sportster drivetrain, a 180 rear tire and it is built 1" up, 1" out and a stock 30-degree rake.
